The Chicago Humanities Festival Gala Benefit:
Honoring Harrison I. Steans and McDonald's
Wednesday, October 10, 2012
Four Seasons Hotel Chicago
160 East Delaware Place
The Chicago Humanities Festival, working in partnership with fellow cultural institutions throughout the Chicago area, has been bringing prominent leaders in literature, history, science, politics, music, and the arts to our city for more than two decades. On October 10, the Chicago Humanities Festival will hold its annual Gala Benefit at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago. We will honor long-tenured CHF Board member and leading Chicago philanthropist Harrison I. Steans as Humanist of the Year, and recognize McDonald’s with the 2012 Corporate Humanist award.
The CHF Gala Benefit also promises a night of brilliant entertainment. The evening will feature Sylvia McNair, two-time Grammy Award-winning vocalist and a Ravinia favorite, singing Great American songbook classics, and the virtuosic stylings of critically-acclaimed pianist Kevin Cole.
