Jennifer Finney Boylan

Welcome!

Hey there, Facebook fan. Thanks for stopping by! We're the Chicago Humanities Festival--a yearly fall fest of 100+ events with a little something for everyone. For our 21st annual Festival, we’re celebrating The Body, October 24 and November 2-14.

This year a number of our Festival events deal directly with issues facing lesbians, gays, bisexuals, and transgender people. From philosophy to writing and self-expression, a number of presenters will share their expriences as part of LGBT community.

The best part, besides all the cool stuff you'll learn and be able to drop into casual conversation? (Imagine how smart you'll be!) Most of our programs are just $5-15 and free for teachers and students. So come join us, and get cultured.

Below is a quick preview of what we've got coming up this fall or browse a full schedule of our events.
