Ticketing Policies

2011 Fall Festival

Member Ticket Sales: September 6 through 18

Your favorite programs may sell out! Become a member today and take advantage of the exclusive two-week advance ticket-buying period. Visit our membership page for more details and to join.

General Public Ticket Sales: September 19 through November 13

How to Order Tickets

To purchase tickets through our website, simply create an online account and add your favorite events to your Festival Itinerary. Once you’ve picked out your events, click "Purchase Tickets" to complete your order. You will need to submit a credit card number and mailing address for your order to be processed. Orders are processed in the order they are received within three business days. Please note, school group tickets cannot be purchased through our website. You must call the box office to make a reservation.

You may also call our box office at 312-494-9509. The box office is open from 10:00 am-5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Payment and Pricing

$5-40 in advance. Visa, MasterCard, and American Express are accepted for online or phone orders; cash only for tickets purchased at the door. A $5 processing fee will by added to all orders (including teacher and student orders).

A $5 per ticket surcharge applies to all purchases at the door. Door surcharge does not apply to teacher and student tickets.

Student and Teacher Prices

Free and reduced-price tickets to many programs are available to students and teachers. Free and reduced-price tickets may also be available for school groups. For more information, please call a box office representative at 312-494-9509. 

Volunteers

2011 registered volunteers receive one pair of tickets for each shift worked. Volunteer tickets must be redeemed in advance by phone at 312-494-9509 and are subject to availability.

Refunds/Exchanges

All ticket sales are final. Tickets are not exchangeable and non-refundable, except in the event of a program cancellation. If you are unable to attend a program for which you have purchased a ticket, please call the box office at 312-494-9509 prior to the program to donate your ticket. Donated tickets must be returned to the Festival in order for you to receive a tax deduction.

Admission Policy

Ticket holders are only guaranteed admission until 10 minutes prior to program start time. Seats unclaimed 10 minutes prior to program start may be reassigned.

CHF limits advance ticket sales to the capacity of its venues. However, seats may be available at sold out programs. If available, tickets will be sold at the door, first-come first-served, 10 minutes prior to the start time of each program.
