    Dan Savage is the author of "Savage Love," an advice column published in alternative newspapers across the country. He has also written several books including Savage Love: Straight Answers from America's Most Popular Sex Columnist, and The Kid: What Happened After My Boyfriend and I Decided to Go Get Pregnant. In addition to writing, he is active in theater, directing queer plays as Keenan Hollahan. Profile

  • ABOUT Bill Savage

    Bill Savage is a senior lecturer in English at Northwestern University. He co-edited the 50th anniversary critical edition of Algren's The Man with the Golden Arm and the newly annotated edition of Chicago: City on the Make. In addition, he is a series editor for Chicago Visions + Revisions. Savage is the recipient of the James Friend Memorial Award in Literary Criticism from the Society of Midland Authors, and the 2004-2005 Distinguished Teaching Award from Northwestern's School for Continuing Studies.

Dan and Bill Savage share an interest in sex education. And they want to share it with you, too. Dan’s enormously popular weekly column, “Savage Love,” and podcast, the Savage Lovecast, address questions pertaining to love and sex from all walks of life. In this live edition of the Savage Lovecast, Dan invites questions from the audience, and Bill, a senior lecturer in English at Northwestern University, moderates.
