    Nicolas de Torrente is the adjunct Associate Professor of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). For eight years, he was the executive director of the U.S. Section of Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières. He has a PhD in International Relations from the London School of Economics and a Master’s degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy in Boston.
