    Professor Elizabeth Warren has most recently served as the Leo Gottlieb Professor of Law at Harvard University. Warren was the Chief Adviser to the National Bankruptcy Review Commission, and she was appointed by Chief Justice Rehnquist as the first academic member of the Federal Judicial Education Committee. She has served as a member of the Commission on Economic Inclusion established by the FDIC.

On February 23, Elizabeth Warren gave the 2011 Joanne H. Alter Women in Government Lecture, presented by the Chicago Humanities Festival. One of a handful of public appearances since she was named to her current post, she talked about her personal and intellectual journey and its culmination in the building of an agency.

Assistant to the President and Special Advisor to the Secretary of the Treasury on the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Elizabeth Warren most recently served as the Leo Gottlieb Professor of Law at Harvard University and Chair of the Congressional Oversight Panel to investigate the Trouble Assets Relief Program (TARP).
