Odette Yousef is the north side bureau reporter for WBEZ 91.5FM, Chicago’s NPR affiliate. From a storefront office on Devon Avenue, she covers news from the city’s far North Side. Before joining WBEZ in 2010, Odette reported for WABE-FM, NPR’s affiliate in Atlanta. She has won several Edward R. Murrow regional and Associated Press awards in Atlanta and Chicago, and was the Atlanta Press Club’s 2008 Radio Journalist of the Year.
Originally from the Boston area, Odette has a B.A. in Economics and East Asian Studies from Harvard University.
