Past Presentation: Chicago Tribune Heartland Prize (2009)
Nick Reding was born in Saint Louis, Missouri, and earned his bachelor's degree in creative writing and English literature from Northwestern University. He has an MFA in Creative Writing from New York University, where he was a University Fellow. His books include The Last Cowboys at the End of the World (2002) and Methland (2009). He has written for Harper's Bazaar, Food and Wine, Outside, Fast Company, and Details. He lives with his wife and son in Saint Louis.
