So it was for Abbi Jacobson, best known as the series co-creator, executive producer and co-star of the hit series Broad City, when she hit the road for three weeks, fully solo, with the goal of relaxing, getting some space, and hitting the reset button across the 2800 miles between New York City and Los Angeles. Samantha Irby joins Jacobson to discuss the lessons learned—and insights gleaned in the cross-country creation of I Might Regret This, her new collection of deeply personal essays about “love, loss, work, comedy, and figuring out who you really are when you thought you already knew.”
