What’s Next: Climate Change
About the Event:
Join writer Nathaniel Rich (Losing Earth) and meteorologist Eric Holthaus (The Future Earth) for a conversation about the existential threat of climate change. Rich’s research delves into the history of climate denialism and the influence of special interests like the fossil fuel industry. Holthaus turns his attention to the future, believing we can and must implement visionary climate solutions at the scale of the crisis we face. Together Rich and Holthaus cover the past, present, and future of climate change, bringing differing perspectives to the question: Can we succeed in saving Earth? This conversation is moderated by urban revitalization strategist Majora Carter.
