David Byrne on Sleeping Beauties
Optional Book:

Sleeping Beauties: Why Good Ideas Go Dormant and How They Wake Up
By David Byrne
About the Event:
Join us for an evening with the incomparable David Byrne — musician, artist, playwright, and one of the most restlessly curious minds of our time. Best known as co-founder of Talking Heads, Byrne has spent decades moving fluidly between music, visual art, and theater, always asking the questions others overlook. Hear from Byrne as he discusses his new book Sleeping Beauties, which explores what brings dormant ideas back to life and serves as a guide to recognizing the next great idea before it falls asleep again.
This event is presented in partnership with the Athenaeum Center for Thought & Culture.
