The Painter and the Thief: Film and Conversation
About the Event:
Roger Ebert famously called the movies “a machine that generates empathy…[which] helps us to identify with the people who are sharing this journey with us." That conviction is at the heart of The Painter and the Thief, a new documentary that explores the long, complex and beautiful relationship that develops between an artist and the thief who stole her paintings. Join the artist (Barbora Kysilkova) for a live streamed conversation about the transformative power of empathy and seeing yourself through someone else’s eyes.
