Ramova Theatre | Co-Prosperity

Chicago Humanities returns to the Bridgeport neighborhood to partner with two community anchors: the Ramova Theatre and the cultural center, Co-Prosperity. Journey through the day to experience the beauty and history of the neighborhood through a Mahogany bus tour or Brick of Chicago walking tour.  Then join us for compelling discussions on adaptive reuse, art as a form of resistance, Chicago’s DIY music scene, and much more. Plus, enjoy a special series featuring the work of MacArthur “Genius” Grant award winners.

Lakeview Day | Saturday, May 9

Join us at the historic Athenaeum Center for a day filled with some of the greatest political historians and thinkers of our time. Featuring a unique multimedia presentation on creativity with two MacArthur Fellows, as well as a conversation on reaching across the political aisle and finding common ground. Members be sure to join us for a special Lakeview lunch reception.

Northwestern Day | Sunday, May 17
