New & Old
The tenth annual Chicago Humanities Festival, New & Old, explored ideas about the renewal and reinvention of the world's greatest cities; the clash between the generations and generational values; the need for genuinely new thought and writing; and the need to preserve the art, literature, and music of the past. New & Old presenters addressed everyday, age-old, and brand-new questions that challenge world leaders and brilliant writers, musicians, historians, and artists—as well as the rest of us.
