Anjelica Huston: "Watch Me"
Anjelica Huston is descended from Hollywood royalty—the daughter of famed director John Huston and the granddaughter the notable actor Walter Huston. Like them, she won an Oscar and created a slew of memorable roles in such films as "Prizzi’s Honor," "The Grifters," "The Addams Family," and "The Royal Tenenbaums." But Huston has also surpassed her famous relatives by achieving the status of icon; her fame extends beyond film into the worlds of art and modeling, theater and television.
Now she’s added a new accomplishment—writer. Her rich personal and professional history have made for a bedazzling memoir. The first installment, A Story Lately Told, detailed her enchanted childhood and her coming-of-age as a model and nascent actress in New York. As the second volume, Watch Me, is released, join us an intimate conversation with the legendary Anjelica Huston. She is joined in conversation by Alison Cuddy, CHF’s program director and former WBEZ 91.5 host.
