Politics:
It's called The Art of Seeing others. But it's really conversation. It's the art of having a kind of conversation that is memorable. And so, again, that's a question of questions…And so other examples for me of big questions are those that lift people above their normal vantage point so they can see themselves from a distance.
-David Brooks
Literature:
Writing isn't just the writing, right. It's the thinking. It's the being in the world. It's, you know, going to a museum, it's listening to music, it's all of it.
-Erika Sanchez
Architecture/Pop Culture:
Find out the things that you're passionate about because those are the things that you should tie into designing your home because those are the things that are really filling your cup
-Bobby Berk
Food:
Cooking is a lot of craftsmanship. So you learn the knife skills because nobody's born with the knife skills. So you have to learn. You have to cut yourself a little bit and it's part of the process and you burn yourself a little bit. And it's a lot of steps that are really purely craftmanship is nothing about art into that process.
