Sports and Belief with Marc Bamuthi Joseph
In 2015, Marc Bamuthi Joseph brought a preview of his multi-disciplinary performance /peh-LO-tah/ to CHF audiences. Now he returns to talk about the connection between sports, politics, and belief. Joseph uses poetry, performance, and soccer to explore how teamwork or group movement can be a bridge for discussing immigration, international diplomacy, and global economies. Join him in conversation with his long-time friend and fellow poet, Roger Bonair-Agard.
The annual Richard Gray Visual Art Series recognizes a significant gift from founding CHF board member and distinguished art dealer Richard Gray and is presented in partnership with the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago.
