Deep Dive: the Great Lakes
Curated by Rachel Havrelock (Professor of English and Director of the Freshwater Lab, University of Illinois at Chicago), the series brings artists, policymakers, and other distinguished thinkers together in conversation to explore important questions related to the Great Lakes.
The Chicago Humanities Festival presents programs year round, bringing people and ideas together for provocative conversations around timely questions and timeless themes.
Alison Cuddy, CHF's Marilynn Thoma Artistic Director, believes the mission of the Festival is to preserve and expand a simple but fundamental aspect of our cultural and civic lives: space where people can come together to explore, debate, and be transformed by the significant thinkers, currents, and trends shaping our world.
